On 28 July 2026, ARES Vietnam conducted an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system surveillance audit at GORDON ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED.

The audit was carried out in accordance with the certification cycle plan to assess the continued implementation, conformity and operational effectiveness of the company’s quality management system in practice.

In the manufacture of hand tools and equipment, precision, process stability and effective product quality control are particularly important. Maintaining a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 enables organisations to manage their activities in a consistent and coordinated manner, improve production reliability and respond more effectively to customer requirements.

KEY FOCUS OF THE SURVEILLANCE AUDIT PROGRAM

As part of the programme, the ARES Vietnam audit team reviewed a number of key areas, including:

• The continued conformity and effectiveness of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015;
• The control of production processes and product quality inspection activities;
• The control of documents and records, as well as the traceability of information;
• The identification and handling of nonconformities, the implementation of corrective actions and the evaluation of their effectiveness;
• The monitoring, measurement, analysis and improvement of the quality management system.

Through document and record reviews, observations of operational activities and discussions with the relevant departments, the audit team gathered the objective evidence required to determine the system’s level of conformity within the scope of the surveillance audit.

OBSERVATIONS FROM THE AUDIT PROGRAMME

The programme was conducted in accordance with the agreed plan, with the active cooperation of the management team and relevant departments of GORDON ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED. The company supported the audit by providing the required documents, exchanging relevant information and facilitating access to the activities under review.

The programme provided the company with a further basis for maintaining and building upon areas of effective conformity, while also identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance the operational effectiveness of the system in the future.
