Following the first verification completed in 2025, ARES Vietnam conducted the second greenhouse gas report verification in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 at GE LAN Industrial Sewing One Member Company Limited (Vietnam) on September 29–30, 2026.

KEY AREAS OF ISO 14064-1 VERIFICATION

The verification team reviewed the organizational boundary and greenhouse gas reporting boundary defined by GE LAN. The review clarified the facilities, activities, and emission scopes included in the inventory period under verification.

The review covered direct and indirect emission sources, together with the basis used to identify significant indirect emissions within the reporting boundary. Comparing this information with actual operations and related records helped assess the completeness of the emission sources included in the inventory.

In addition, the verification team examined activity data, emission factors, calculation methods, and reference sources. This review aimed to assess whether the calculation basis was appropriate for each emission category.

The figures presented in the report were then cross-checked against calculation results, records, and relevant supporting documents. Through this process, the team assessed data traceability and consistency among input information, quantification processes, and reported results.

MAINTAINING GHG INVENTORY ACTIVITIES ACROSS REPORTING PERIODS

Maintaining greenhouse gas inventory and report verification across reporting periods helps GE LAN track emissions information systematically. The findings from the verification program provide a basis for the company to review and improve data collection, data storage, and reporting activities for subsequent reporting periods.
