On October 12–13, 2026, ARES Vietnam conducted an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system surveillance audit at Simona Leather Company Limited.
The audit followed the planned schedule within the certification cycle. Its purpose was to assess continued conformity with the standard’s requirements and the effectiveness of the system in actual operations.

For leather products, raw material quality, process control conditions at each production stage, and consistency in finished product specifications require continuous management. These factors also provide a basis for assessing how quality management system requirements are applied in Simona Leather’s production operations.

KEY FOCUS OF THE SURVEILLANCE AUDIT PROGRAM

During the audit, ARES Vietnam’s audit team focused on several key areas, including:

• Implementation of control measures at each production stage and verification of product conformity with specified requirements.
• Control of documents and records, as well as the traceability of information related to production processes.
• Identification and handling of nonconformities, including root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and evaluation of their effectiveness.
• Monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation of performance, along with the use of these results to improve the quality management system.

The audit team examined these areas through document and record reviews, on-site observations, and discussions with relevant departments. The collected evidence then served as the basis for establishing audit findings and conclusions within the scope of the surveillance audit.
